Krystal Caldwell.
Krystal Caldwell is a multidisciplinary artist and passionate visual arts educator based in Ontario, Canada. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Krystal brings both technical skill and creative curiosity to her diverse body of work. She works fluidly across a variety of mediums, continually exploring new forms of artistic expression—from traditional painting and drawing to more unconventional formats.
In addition to her personal practice, Krystal is a dedicated high school visual arts teacher, where she inspires the next generation of artists to find their voices through creativity. One of her most recognizable contributions to public art is her vibrant and ephemeral chalk art, which transforms everyday spaces into joyful, thought-provoking experiences.
Krystal’s work reflects a deep appreciation for colour, texture, and storytelling, often drawing on themes from nature, education, and community. Whether in the classroom or on the pavement, she creates with intention, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and connect.
